applications for a New Habitat House Partner.

You now live in inadequate housing and want a simple decent home.

You have lived in the Espanola or Los Alamos area for at least one year and live
there now.

You are low to middle income and fit the financial guidelines below, You may be
slightly above the guideline and still qualify.

You have current income and the ability to pay for a Habitat house. Upon completion of the house you will
have a interest free mortgage with Habitat for Humanity to repay the
expenses of building your home, typically over a period of 30 years. The payments are affordable.

You are willing to help work alongside volunteers on the construction of your
home as well as volunteer for other Habitat for Humanity activities. This is called sweat equity.
If you qualify and you’re going to submit an
application for a New Habitat House You will also need to submit a copy of your
2009 and 2010 income tax return, as well
as a copy of all paystubs and/or income statements, such as Social Security
award letter. Please submit with
your completed application.
